Stroke Awareness Program at Mahestala

On 15th Jan 2017 at Mahestala, in a Rural Primary School,  Dr. A. Shobhana spoke in detail to the rural people , mostly women about stroke , magnitude of devastation in terms of premature death and disability, important preventable risk factors and their management. Among other modalities of Awareness, she stressed upon the use of recently developed  mobile-based Device – “ Stroke Riskometer App “ in Bengali, which will help all Bengali Speaking people of Eastern India and Bangladesh ( around 280 millions). The spontaneous response and interaction was very encouraging.
